OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. According to director of the independent research center Valeriu Prohnitchi, who presented the analysis of Moldova’s economy growth, even if the scenario is the most pessimistic, GDP will grow 2% in Moldova in 203.

Moldova is gradually recovering after external shocks and main risks will arise in the agricultural sector in the following 2 or three quarters. According to the expert, there is a need to give more realistic assessment to the agriculture development paradigm and take into account difficult weather conditions as developing policies.

Valeriu Prohnitchi stressed that all ministries have to enhance their skills in forecasting and analyzing results of policies they develop. “When drawing policies all ministries have to cooperate with each other so that to have a full notion of economic conditions and make more precise projections”, Valeriu Prohnitchi says.

The Expert Group Director thinks the main obstacles hampering the economic progress will remain unreliable justice and imperfect education, which does not meet market needs.
