OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2012. Helios IT, a member of ARMADA JSC (MICEX-RTS: ARMD), announces successful competition of the project on development of an engineering and integrated network infrastructure of the executive office of Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Centre and Volga Region JSC (IDGC of Centre). The new office of B+ class with the total area of more than 60 thousand square meters, furnished with a modern and high technology IT-infrastructure, is already ensuring a comfortable working atmosphere, which contributes to the effective work of employees of IDGC of Centre.

In connection with the move of the company to a new 7-floor building, the tasks were to furnish the new office with all necessary systems and equipment within the shortest possible time, to propose a complex solution of IT-infrastructure “from scratch” and “turnkey”, to ensure the uninterrupted operation of all subdivisions of the executive office of IDGC of Centre. The project was implemented in a record-breaking time – within 2 months. According to the specific construction plan developed by Helios IT specialists, all works were conducted simultaneously at the total area of more than 60 thousand square meters. In separate days up to 120 specialists were working together at the site.

The basis of the IT-infrastructure served the structured cable system (SCS) and the system of guaranteed electric power supply, ensuring the functioning of a complex consisting of 600 workplaces, built in accordance with the international standards.

One of the most high-end elements of the new IT-infrastructure became the telephone communication system created on the basis of advanced solutions in the sphere of IP telephony.

A new Data Processing Centre (DPC) was developed after a general rebuilding of the specific facility, the functioning of which required the design and development of a full complex of systems: ventilation and precision cold supply systems, power supply and emergency lighting systems, security and fire alarm system together with an automatic gas fire extinguishing system, the complex also includes the reporting facilities and an access control system (ACS).
