OREANDA-NEWS. Gazpromneft Omsk Oil Refinery brought its oil refining volume up to 10.34 million tons during the first half of 2013, a 1.3 percent increase since the first half of 2012. The oil conversion factor rose by 1.8 percent to 89.8 percent.

The refinery produced 2.36 million tons of automotive gasoline during the first half of 2013, which is 4 percent more than during the first half of the previous year. The refinery increased its production of high-octane gasoline by 7.6 percent to 2.18 million tons. The refinery’s production of diesel fuel grew by 18.6 percent to 3.25 million tons.

A motor fuel hydrotreatment complex was commissioned at the Omsk Oil Refinery in 2012. The complex includes a catalytic cracking gasoline hydrotreatment unit and a diesel fuel hydrotreatment unit. This has allowed the refinery to convert entirely to the production of grades 4 and 5 high-octane fuels and to begin producing grades 4 and 5 diesel fuel.

Gazprom Neft adopted a mid-term investment program for the Omsk Oil Refinery in late 2012. According to the program, the company will allocate over 50 billion rubles for modernization of the refinery in 2013-2015.
