OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2014. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, as compared with November, 2012, it grew 10.7% in November, 2013. In the reporting period, the output increased 19.5% in the mining industry and grew 7.6% in the processing one.

The output at companies producing foodstuffs and beverages increased 3.9%. For example, distilled alcohol production rocketed 26.6%, flour-grinding industry showing the 27.7% increase. The output increased 13.1% in the fish and canned fish industry and 11.2% in the canned fruit and vegetable industry.

The output of diary products increased 8.1%; the output of cacao, chocolate and sugar confectionary grew 7.5%, the output of bread and pastry rose 5.4%. Production, processing and canning of meat grew 4.6%. At the same time, the output of vegetable oils and fats tumbled 73.2% down, production of mineral water and soft drinks declined 8.5%, wine industry showed the 5.5% decline.

In January-November, 2013 production of electric machines and equipment increased 34.5%, the metallurgic and chemical output growing 30.1% and 18.7% respectively. Production of non-metal mineral products increased 23.3%; the output of medical devices, precision and optical instruments increased 12.9%; the output of furniture rose 2.9%. At the same time, within the reporting period, tobacco output decreased 17.5%. The publishing industry output decreased 15%.

The output decreased 12.7% in the timber and woodwork industry; the production of machines and equipment decreased 9.7%; the output of other metal works, expect for machines and equipment, dropped 7.2%; the output of tele and radio devices decreased 5.7%; the output of leather and leather works fell 2%; the cloths and fur industry showed the decline by 1.3%. Paper and cardboard production decreased 4%; the textile industry experienced the 0.9% decrease; the output of plastic and robber items fell 0.5%.

The energy sector (generation and distribution of electricity and heat) reported the decline by 4% in this period. Heat and hot water supply decreased 9.1%, generation and distribution of power shrank 2.3%, NBS reports.
