OREANDA-NEWS. Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) celebrates its 5th anniversary of service in Brasilia city, highlighting its continuous growth in the market and the introduction of its new 767-300 aircraft featuring full flat-bed seats in the BusinessElite cabin on the Brasilia-Atlanta route. Delta’s growth is evidenced by the increase in customers who prefer and rely on the airline’s enhanced travel experience and the benefits that come from its strategic alliance with GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes.

"We are proud to celebrate 5 years of service in Brasilia and are pleased to reinforce our position in the market,” said Luciano Macagno, Delta's director for Brazil. “From a product standpoint, the introduction of our new aircraft both consolidates our position in the local market and represents our growth capacity not only for Brasilia but in all of Brazil, due to our connecting capabilities with GOL flights in the renovated Brasilia Airport.”

Delta and GOL offer a U.S.-Brazil network unrivaled by any other U.S. flag carrier.
