OREANDA-NEWS  The building of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kiev was damaged as a result of night strikes on the city. The country's Foreign Ministry was informed about this, the Report newspaper writes.

"On August 28, at about three o'clock in the morning, Kiev was attacked. When one of the rockets exploded, the building of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine was damaged by a shock wave. Some windows are broken, and there are cracks on the roof of the consular department," the report said.

It is also clarified that there are no casualties among the embassy staff, it continues to work.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian army carried out several attacks on a Turkish factory during a massive night attack on Kiev on August 27-28. It was supposed to produce Bayraktar drones.

In turn, military correspondent Alexander Kots wrote on social media that this was the fourth strike on the Bayraktar Turkish drone factory in the last six months.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are striking exclusively at military targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
