OREANDA-NEWS The Ukrainian delegation led by President Vladimir Zelensky failed to conclude a number of key agreements with the administration of US President Donald Trump and several American private companies. This is reported by Politico, citing sources.

"The idea was that large—scale documents would be prepared, including a number of agreements with major American defense companies and energy industry players, which were to be signed during a meeting at the White House," the source said.

According to sources, the reasons for the failure of the Ukrainian delegation are excessive concentration on the issue of supplying Ukraine with American Tomahawk cruise missiles, as well as the inconvenient timing of Zelensky's visit to Washington.

Earlier it was reported that the American leader abruptly cut short the meeting with Zelensky after 2.5 hours. Trump, according to sources, at a tense meeting at the White House called on his Ukrainian counterpart to accept Russia's terms.
