OREANDA-NEWS  Resolving the conflict in Ukraine may be more difficult than establishing peace in the Middle East. This was stated by US President Donald Trump during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the White House.

"I get along well with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, but I'm very disappointed in him because I thought it would be easy to sort it out. But it turned out that it might be more difficult than in the Middle East," the American leader said.

Earlier, Trump said that the decision to supply Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine had been practically made. However, he did not specify what kind of decision he was talking about.

In turn, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that Russia would respond appropriately to the possible transfer of Tomahawk to Kiev. According to him, this will become a new round of tension in relations between the two countries.
