OREANDA-NEWS  Since the beginning of the year, the Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance EXIAR (part of the REC Group) has supported export shipments of small and medium-sized enterprises in the amount of more than 1.5 billion rubles with the help of "Deferred Payment Insurance for SMEs," according to the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group).

"During the reporting period, the number of concluded contracts exceeded 200, in total 175 unique companies used the service. The geography of the service has expanded to 46 regions of the country, which is 22% more than in the same period of 2024 (38 regions). Among the new recipient regions of the service are the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra and the Trans-Baikal Territory," the report says.

The key export categories were food products (31%), equipment and spare parts (13%), chemical products (10%) and agricultural products.
