Google was fined millions of rubles in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS The Tagansky District court of Moscow has fined the American company Google millions of rubles. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city.
Google was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 13.49 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to fulfill obligations stipulated by the legislation on the activities of foreign persons in the Internet information and telecommunications network on the territory of the Russian Federation").
The court imposed a fine of seven million rubles on the company.
Earlier it was reported that Google was fined almost four million rubles in Russia. The reason was the distribution of personal data of Russian military personnel on the YouTube video hosting site owned by the company.
Before that, Google was brought to administrative responsibility in Russia for refusing to restrict access to publications about drinking alcohol. The company was ordered to pay a fine of 3.8 million rubles.
