OREANDA-NEWS  In October, experts counted 14 Russian regions where the average salary is more than 100,000 rubles. At the same time, a year earlier there were 12 of them, as reported by RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the average monthly salary for Russians in the middle of autumn was 99.7 thousand rubles, whereas in the same period last year it was at 86.6 thousand a year earlier.

The largest incomes are recorded among residents of Chukotka – 209.4 thousand rubles, the Magadan region – 179.7 thousand and in Moscow – 173.7 thousand. These regions were in the top a year earlier, but Moscow and the Magadan region have switched places.

The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District also entered the top five, where the average salary was 168.2 thousand rubles, as well as Kamchatka with 165 thousand rubles. Sakhalin (142.6 thousand rubles), the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (138.2 thousand), Yakutia (137.8 thousand), Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (125 thousand) and the Murmansk Region (122.8 thousand) rounded out the top ten.

In addition to these subjects, residents of St. Petersburg could also boast of salaries above 100,000 rubles - in the Northern capital of Russia, monthly incomes averaged 122.2 thousand rubles. The Moscow region is lower on the list – 119.7 thousand. The newcomers to the rating were the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where on average residents received 104.9 thousand rubles, as well as the Trans-Baikal Territory (100.9 thousand).
