OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that reciprocal investments give the economies of Russia and Belarus impulses for interconnected growth.

"Counter–investments give our economies the impetus for interconnected growth, and most importantly, create new jobs. Russian investors account for more than 60% of the funds raised by Belarus. Our country has also significantly increased investments in the Russian economy," Lukashenko said at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Moscow.

The President of Belarus is the chairman of the Supreme State Council.
