OREANDA-NEWS The richest Russian entrepreneurs have collectively lost $50 billion since the beginning of 2022. The biggest losses were suffered by the co-owner of Lukoil, Vagit Alekperov, who became four times poorer in just three months. And Vladimir Potanin, the co-owner of Norilsk Nickel, became the richest Russian. This is reported by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) rating.

Despite the losses, the richest businessman in Russia turned out to be one of the owners of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin, whose fortune totals $29.4 billion, since the beginning of 2022 he has lost $1.47 billion. Leonid Mikhelson, the co-owner of Novatek, has become noticeably poorer — his fortune has decreased by $4.9 billion to $27.5 billion, but this did not prevent him from taking second place in the ranking of the richest entrepreneurs in the country.

In third place, in turn, is the main owner of Severstal, Alexey Mordashov, he lost $5.7 billion and remained with $23.1 billion. The fourth place is taken by NLMK beneficiary Vladimir Lisin, his fortune has «lost weight» by $4.97 billion, to $23 billion. And on the fifth line is the owner of Megafon and Metalloinvest, Alisher Usmanov, who has lost $1.5 billion since January 2022, now his accounts have decreased to $19.8 billion.
