OREANDA-NEWS  Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin will closely monitor the Platinum Wolf exercises conducted by Serbia with NATO countries.

"Attempts to attract Serbia to the side of those who take an anti-Russian position are constantly being made. Belgrade is under unprecedented pressure. As for the exercises, we will closely monitor them," Peskov said.

On April 5, it became known that Serbia intends to hold joint exercises called "Platinum Wolf" on its territory together with a number of NATO countries this summer. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the country. International tactical exercises "Platinum Wolf" will be held from June 16 to June 30.

Also, the Serbian Defense Ministry, at the request of TASS, stated that the republic had maintained a moratorium on international military exercises, the exception was the "Platinum Wolf — 2023" with NATO countries. They stressed that the decision of the Serbian government of February 27 last year to cancel and postpone all activities related to exercises with foreign partners remains in force.
