OREANDA-NEWSThe British MPs began Friday's discussion in the second reading of the Brexit bill. Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Parliament have submitted a text that includes a deal with the EU under a “divorce”.

"This bill rejects the possibility of any new postponement, we will leave the EU on January 31, 2020, when Brexit will happen, and the sad story of the past three and a half years will be completed", said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, referring to long negotiations with the EU and failed government attempts to bill through parliament.

This is the fifth attempt by the British government to get the "divorce" agreement from the legislators, and this time everything indicates that it will be successful. The fact is that in the early parliamentary elections last week, the Conservative Party won a landslide victory. Relying on a comfortable majority of 80 deputies, conservative leader Johnson did not put the matter aside and submitted the deal to the parliament of the new convocation on the second day of his work.
