OREANDA-NEWS. US President Donald Trump wrote that he does not plan to be vaccinated against coronavirus, but he is ready to do so at the appropriate time. Earlier, the politician was ill with COVID-19.

“People working in the White House should receive the vaccine somewhat later in the program, unless specifically necessary. I have asked that this adjustment be made. I am not scheduled to take the vaccine, but I look forward to doing so at the appropriate time,” Trump wrote on his Twitter page.

Earlier, the media reported that high-ranking employees of the three branches of the US government will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 on a priority basis. Prior to this, former US presidents Barack Obama, George Bush Jr. and Bill Clinton have pledged to be publicly vaccinated against COVID-19 to increase public confidence in the safety of the vaccine.
