Red streams spilled down the street of the Russian city

The photos show red streams that have spilled over the roadway. Cars and people walk on them. As the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkiria clarified, the dye dyed the streams and puddles red.
"Along Dmitry Donskoy Street in Ufa, as a result of precipitation in the form of rain, a dye spread (previously Rhodamine C — is most often used as a color additive for medicines, food products, cosmetics, fabrics), which was scattered during unloading. The substance is harmless, has no smell," the message says.
Previously, the dye appeared on the street in Ufa because of employees of a nearby enterprise. Its director said that the substance was scattered on the streets by workers. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 15 people and three units of special equipment were engaged in eliminating the consequences.
Earlier in the city of Cherepanovo, Novosibirsk region, the blood drained by the meat processing plant spilled down the street, it was filmed on video. "The stench is indescribable," says the author of the video and shows a manhole from which blood gushes from a meat processing plant.
