OREANDA-NEWS  The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that the city of Kurchatov, where the Kursk NPP is located, was attacked by two drones. An administrative building and a private house were damaged.

"In the morning, Kurchatov was attacked by two Ukrainian drones. An administrative building and a residential building were damaged. Specialists have gone to the site, they are assessing the extent of the damage. Details are being clarified," the governor wrote in Telegram.

The capital's Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports were closed tonight. More than 50 flights at these airports have been delayed or canceled. Later, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported a drone shot down in Lyubertsy near Moscow.

The last drone attack on Kurchatov was on July 14.
