OREANDA-NEWS Apple has unveiled a new iPhone 16e smartphone, the cheapest in the current iPhone line. This is reported on the company's website.

The device received a design without a Home button and wide horizontal frames. The smartphone came out with a 6.1-inch OLED display, an Apple A18 processor, which is used in the current iPhone 16.

On the back of the gadget there is a single camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels. The company said that the phone's battery charge is enough for a whole day of work. A distinctive feature of the device from the previous gadgets of the line is the USB-C port.

The cost of the iPhone 16e in the United States was $ 599, or about 55 thousand rubles.

The previous smartphone of the SE series, the third generation, was introduced in the spring of 2022. The original iPhone SE, which received a 4-inch display, an A9 chip and a 12-megapixel camera, was released in March 2016.

At the end of February, reputable insider Min-Chi Ko suggested that the new iPhone SE would be a bestseller. Ko found out that Kopania intends to sell more than 20 million copies in 2025.
