OREANDA-NEWS  Sales of fur coats and sheepskin coats made of artificial fur increased fourfold in a year - they entered the top 3 popular wardrobe items from winter outerwear, the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (the operator of the Honest Sign labeling system) told RIA Novosti.

"In the last few years, Russians have started a trend towards buying fur coats from ecomech. According to the analysis of retail sales of outerwear for winter in the first three quarters of 2025, they are among the Top 3 most popular wardrobe items and occupy the third place after down jackets and jackets / pairs. Over the past year, sales of fur coats and sheepskin coats made of synthetic fur have increased fourfold," the CRPT said.

According to analysts' calculations, outerwear is most often bought in Kamchatka, Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as in the Magadan, Novosibirsk, Sakhalin, Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad regions.
