Russian protein exports have reached a record high

OREANDA-NEWS According to the EAEU data, Russia doubled its protein exports in both physical and monetary terms for 11 months of 2025. This is reported by the federal center "Agroexport".
We are talking about the supply of more than 150 tons of protein to foreign markets for almost one and a half million dollars, which has become a record in the entire history of observations.
Almost all of these volumes accounted for Israel, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan with figures of 1, 0.25 and 0.1 million dollars, respectively, the publication says. Concentrated milk proteins were also supplied to Uzbekistan and Belarus last year.
Earlier, on Monday, February 9, it became known that despite the general decrease in demand for cognac in Russia, which amounted to 9.1 percent in 2025, sales of this type of drink produced in France increased by 10 percent in the domestic market.
