OREANDA-NEWS   The explosion occurred in the city of Sumy in Ukraine against the background of an air alert announced in some areas of the Sumy region, the Ukrainian Public television channel reported.

"An explosion was heard in Sumy," reads a message posted on the Telegram channel of the "Public".

According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air raid alarm is sounding in some areas of Sumy and neighboring Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions.
