Ozon will reduce tariffs for sellers for items cheaper than 300 rubles

OREANDA-NEWS Ozon reduces tariffs for sellers for items that cost less than 300 rubles by an average of two times from September 1. This will expand the range of available products on the marketplace, the company told RIA Novosti.
"Ozon is launching special conditions for sellers of goods worth up to 300 rubles: it will be twice as profitable to sell inexpensive goods compared to standard tariffs. This will significantly expand the range of available products on the marketplace. ... Reduced tariffs for the sale and logistics of goods cheaper than 300 rubles will be effective from September 1. This will help sellers increase sales during the high season," the company said.
As noted in Ozon, products worth up to 300 rubles are in demand among users - they account for almost two thirds of sales in the category of daily demand. As for sellers, inexpensive positions for them are an opportunity to increase sales due to a large number of orders, even at a low cost of goods.
"For example, the sale and logistics of a teapot worth 200 rubles and a volume of 3 liters with new tariffs will cost 71 rubles. Previously, the seller would have paid 123 or 179 rubles for the same services, depending on the sales scheme. The new conditions will apply both to goods that sellers ship directly from their warehouses, and to those that are stored and delivered from Ozon warehouses," the company added.
