OREANDA-NEWS North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has publicly dismissed Vice Premier Yang Seung-ho, according to a commentary by the DPRK Central News Agency (KCNA).
During his visit to the Renson machine-building plant, Kim Jong-un was dissatisfied with the pace of its modernization.
"Comrade Kim Jong-un dismissed Deputy Prime Minister Yang Seung-ho on the spot," the article says.
He noted that the process of the first stage of the plant's modernization was postponed due to "irresponsible, rude and incompetent managers, which led to difficulties and considerable economic damage." The Head of State acknowledged that the governing forces are not ready for the streamlining and technical reconstruction of the industry in the country as a whole.
