OREANDA-NEWS  The number of internally displaced persons in Iran due to military actions against Israel and the United States has reached 3.2 million people, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reported on Thursday.

"Due to the conflict, between 600,000 and 1 million households have been temporarily displaced within the country, which is 3.2 million people," the UNHCR said in a press release.

It is noted that most of the displaced people have left Tehran and other major cities for the north of the country and the countryside.
