OREANDA-NEWS  In Kostroma, finds made during the restoration of old houses have been collected into a single collection. Ekaterina Babkina, director of ASK-Alliance, told about this in the Telegram channel.

According to her, interesting things come across during the restoration work. So, coins with Peter I were found in a house on Gorky Street. "During an engineering survey in Galicia, they found an icon in a salary, and on Tchaikovsky Street, a bottle of vodka from tsarist times," she said of the finds.

Babkina also said that the collection is managed by the staff and founder of ASK-Alliance, Alexander Golovanov. She noted that the exhibits are not sold for any money, each find is located in the office shelf.

Earlier it was reported that a purse with coins, lost two thousand years ago, was found on the site of the former ancient estate of Verkhne Dzhemete II in Anapa. The discovery was made back in 2023-2024, but only now have archaeologists managed to describe it. There are 10 Amisa coins left in the wallet.
