The publication emphasizes that the American leader Donald Trump, apparently, invited world leaders friendly to him to the Council.

Earlier, the Financial Times wrote that Donald Trump invited Vladimir Putin to join the international "Peace Council" because he wants to maintain a dialogue with him.

Dmitry Peskov, the president's press secretary, announced that the Russian leader had received an invitation to join the Peace Council. He clarified that Moscow is studying all the details of the proposal.
