OREANDA-NEWS Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Thus, by August 2026, the government must develop and approve a ten-year development strategy for the Far Eastern Federal District.
By December 1 of this year, the head of state instructed to approve a roadmap for the long-term development of mining and production of rare and rare earth metals.
The government will have to take measures to develop multimodal transport and logistics centers on the border with China and the DPRK. In particular, in the territories of the Nizhneleninskoye—Tongjiang and Blagoveshchensk—Heihe railway bridge crossings, as well as the bridge crossing over the Tumannaya River under construction. The relevant reports were instructed to be submitted by February 1, 2026 and by February 1, 2027.
Also, by 2030, at least ten industrial parks, technoparks and business parks should be created in the Far Eastern Federal District and in the onshore territories of the Arctic zone to accommodate small and medium-sized businesses.
