OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian Ministry of Transport to analyze the condition of roads in Kamchatka after abnormal snowfalls, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev said.

"The President of Russia instructed the Ministry of Transport to analyze the condition of roads after increased snow load and take measures to put roads in order," the envoy informed a meeting on cyclone mitigation.

On Monday, Trutnev arrived on a working trip to the Kamchatka Territory to discuss the situation related to the consequences of abnormal snowfalls in December and January and the powerful July earthquake of 2025. In addition, the envoy will hold a meeting on the economic block, where they will discuss the implementation of priority investment projects and the work of the TOP regime. As part of the trip, Trutnev will also visit a number of social institutions in the region.
