According to the World Bank, the Russian economy grew from $6.45 trillion to $6.92 trillion over the year.
At the same time, Russia doubled its gap from its closest pursuer, Japan, which ranks fifth. The gap between the two countries has doubled, from $264 billion to $514 billion.
The top three countries are China with 38.2 trillion dollars, the United States with 29.2 trillion dollars, and India with 16.2 trillion dollars.
