OREANDA-NEWS The court of appeal found it lawful to recover 8 billion 8 million 684,193 rubles 68 kopecks from Google as a fine for evading administrative punishment, the press service of the Chertanovsky District Court of Moscow told Interfax.

Google was found guilty of evading administrative punishment (Part 1 of Article 20.25 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).

In 2023, Google was fined more than 4 billion rubles twice: for non-payment of a revolving fine in the framework of the antimonopoly case of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation and for systematic failure to delete information, access to which is subject to restriction.
