The Finnish Foreign Ministry has received a note from Russia on the termination of part of the energy agreement

OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has received a note from Russia on the termination of two articles of the energy agreement between Finland and Russia on the hydroelectric power station on the Vuoksa River, the Yle broadcaster reported on Wednesday.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has received an official note from Russia, in which it informs about the termination of two articles of the agreement on the Vuoksa hydroelectric power station," the message says.
On November 2, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered the termination of two articles of the agreement with Finland on the energy use of the Vuoksa River segment limited by the Svetogorsk hydroelectric power station and the Imatra hydroelectric power station. Mishustin also instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry to inform Finland that due to their unilateral refusal to buy Russian electricity, Russia is no longer obligated to supply them with compensation energy under the contract.
