OREANDA-NEWS  Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky accepted the peace plan developed by the administration of US President Donald Trump, under pressure. This is reported by the Axios portal with reference to a Ukrainian source.

"Zelensky agreed to accept this plan as the basis for negotiations because he knew that he could not afford to reject it," the article says.

The US peace plan contains 28 points. Among the conditions are Kiev's rejection of NATO, recognition of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk as Russian. The White House is putting pressure on Kiev to sign the agreement by Thanksgiving Day, November 27.

Earlier, Ukraine reported that during negotiations with the United States in Geneva, Kiev managed to adjust most of the inconvenient points of Washington's peace plan. The meeting of representatives of the two countries took place on November 23.
