OREANDA-NEWS  Oleg Zubkov, the founder and owner of the Crimean safari park Taigan, who survived the lion attack, intends to continue working with lions and other animals, regardless of the circumstances.

"Believe me, nothing will change either in my behavior or in my life. I remain who I made myself to be. Don't be mad at me, but I will go to the lions, communicate with the lions and with other animals. This is my path, I chose it and I will go through to the end," he said in a video posted on the park's Telegram channel.

Zubkov thanked everyone who was worried about him. He stressed that this support is very important to him.

Regarding the lion that attacked him, the owner of the Taigan confirmed that the animal would remain in the park on the territory of the savannah. "I know all my lions. And this lion is no exception. He will live, but you will just have to behave differently with him, not the way I did," he said. Zubkov noted that his job carries risks in the same way as other professions, such as electricians or builders.
