OREANDA-NEWS  The national Bioeconomics project is expected to be approved at the end of this year, after the adoption of the budget law for the period 2026-2028, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov told RIA Novosti in an interview on the eve of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2025).

"Last week, the President was informed about two national projects that were prepared for approval. These are the national Cosmos project and the national Bioeconomics project, which have been prepared in general, but will be formally approved at the end of the year, after the adoption of the budget law for the period 2026-2028," Manturov said.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, bioeconomics is applicable to a wide range of industries, for example, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, even metallurgy, microelectronics, optoelectronics.
