OREANDA-NEWS The military forces launched an assault on the airbase in Ivano-Frankivsk, where F-16 fighter jets are stationed, according to Sergei Lebedev, the coordinator of the pro-Russian underground in Mykolaiv, who spoke to RIA Novosti.
"Ivano-Frankivsk. Early in the morning, there were already strikes. They say it's about the energy system. And now they say that in the direction of the airbase, where there are planes, including F-16, " said the agency interlocutor.
At night, a nationwide air alert was issued across Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Khmelnitsky, Poltava, and Kiev regions.
