The weather in Russia has broken fifty weather records

OREANDA-NEWS On November 19, several dozen weather records were delivered in Russia. Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told about this in his Telegram channel.
During the day, according to the forecaster, about fifty temperature records were broken, and all of them are recorded in those regions that are in the warm sector of the cyclone. Despite the cold snap in Central Russia, air masses from the Mediterranean have already covered Siberia and the Urals. In addition to the cities of the Volga region and southern Russia, where the Italian cyclone arrived the day before, the cyclone came to Perm, Yekaterinburg, Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut.
According to Shuvalov, this is not the limit yet — the meteorologist is waiting for new temperature records in eastern Siberia and Altai. However, the thermometer will not rise even higher, Shuvalov is convinced, the peak of warming has passed. On Thursday, November 20, the warm front will leave the banks of the Volga and the Urals, and on Friday — Western Siberia. At the same time, in Stavropol and the North Caucasus, the temperature is kept at plus 15 degrees, and in Kuban — plus 20 degrees. Such weather in the regions will continue until the end of the month.
The temperature is above the climatic norm in almost the entire territory of Russia. In the southern regions, with such indicators, you can even sunbathe, says Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center.
