Poland has acquired radars to monitor the border with Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Poland has acquired 18 multi-purpose surface survey radars based on the Israeli ELM-2238/X STAR X radar. This is reported by TASS.
It is specified that the radars will be used to monitor the Baltic coast and the border with the Kaliningrad region of Russia. The system will also operate in the area of the "Eastern Shield" — at the protective structures on the eastern border of Poland.
The contract value is 430 million Polish zloty, or 118.5 million dollars. Deliveries will be carried out from 2027 to 2030.
Earlier, Poland raised aviation again due to the "activity of Russia." The command assured that it "controls the current situation, and subordinate forces and assets remain fully prepared for an immediate response."
