OREANDA-NEWS  British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a "military leader" and called for his support. His words are quoted by CNN.

The politician also stressed that one should not "curry favor" with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "Zelensky is a military leader whose country has been invaded. And we should all support him, not fawn over Putin," he said.

Earlier, Starmer announced Britain's readiness to send an armed contingent to the territory of Ukraine. He believes that London should take a leading position in supporting Kiev.
