OREANDA-NEWS American geopolitical analyst Scott Ritter said on YouTube that Ukraine would lose in the conflict with Russia and would be forced to accept peace on Moscow's terms.

In his opinion, the current Ukrainian government will be disbanded. "Then new elections will be held, which will form a pro—Russian government that will seek to transform Ukraine from a failed puppet of the West into a member of the Union State," he said. Ritter believes that Ukraine will join Russia and Belarus and will never become part of Europe.

Ritter also noted that there are currently no people in the entourage of US President Donald Trump who truly understand Russia and the post-Soviet space. Therefore, it is difficult for the owner of the White House to correctly perceive the described reality.

Earlier, the head of the White House said there was no reaction from Russian President Vladimir Putin to a new ultimatum, according to which the deadline for Russia to reach an agreement on Ukraine was reduced to 10-12 days. The main victim of Trump's secondary sanctions could be the global energy market.
