OREANDA-NEWS  The East Siberian Oil and Gas Company (part of Rosneft) has planted about one million coniferous seedlings in Siberia. Reforestation activities in 2025 were carried out on the territory of the Achinsk and Karatuzsky forestry districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The total area of reforestation has exceeded 310 hectares.

Siberian spruce seedlings were selected for reforestation as the most adapted species to local soil and climatic conditions. The oil workers also organized agrotechnical care to increase the survival rate of young trees.

Over the past four years, Vostsibneftegaz's contribution to the reproduction of Siberian forests has amounted to 3.5 million coniferous trees on an area of more than 1 thousand hectares.
