OREANDA-NEWS In the Saratov region, the amount of a one-time payment to those who signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense to serve in the area of a special military operation (SVO) has been reduced by almost five times. This follows from the decree of the government of the region, it is published on the official website of the region.

According to the document, the amount of the payment was reduced from 2.2 million rubles to 450 thousand rubles. A lump sum of this amount will be paid to those who signed a contract from October 28 to December 31, 2025.

Since February 1 of this year, 700,000 rubles have been paid to contract soldiers in the Saratov Region for concluding an agreement with the Russian Ministry of Defense. In August, this amount was increased again, it amounted to 2.2 million rubles.

Earlier in the Chelyabinsk region, the payment for new military personnel was sharply increased. Now contract soldiers who have been drafted from the Chelyabinsk region will receive up to 2.4 million rubles from the region. Previously, the maximum amount of the "lifting" payment was only one and a half million rubles.
