Putin instructed to increase the capacity of the Eastern Railway landfill

OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans to increase the capacity of the Eastern Railway Landfill.
"(We will) increase the capacity of the Eastern Railway Landfill," the head of state said during the opening of the transport complex facilities via videoconference.
In May 2024, the Russian government approved the launch of the third stage of development of the Eastern Polygon of Russian Railways. The cost of the third stage until 2035, with an increase in the carrying capacity to 270 million tons, is estimated at 3.7 trillion rubles. Russian Railways conducted preparatory work on the third stage of the development of the Eastern Polygon of Russian Railways.
