OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on US President Donald Trump's harsh remarks about Moscow. Her words are quoted by TASS.

Zakharova responded to Trump's harsh statements about Russia and called them a tactic of dialogue. "It seems to me that this is such a tactic, such a strategy, such political maneuvering for negotiations," the diplomat admitted.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Trump was allegedly ready to provide Kiev with security guarantees after the end of the conflict. The head of the United States himself refused to answer the question of what potential security guarantees Ukraine could receive after reaching a peace agreement.

In addition, on September 23, during a meeting with Zelensky on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Trump answered in the affirmative to a question from journalists whether NATO countries should shoot down Russian aircraft if their airspace was violated.
