OREANDA-NEWS   The Fyodor Konyukhov House Museum on Sadovnicheskaya Street in Moscow will receive the status of a city museum. This was stated by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, during a meeting with the traveler, writes TASS.

"We are doing this for you [Fyodor Filippovich], so that your feat, your absolutely unique achievements will be preserved, so that the younger generation will learn what you have done. (...) The city will help you," Sobyanin said.

Konyukhov, in turn, stressed that his collection contains more than three thousand paintings, as well as other exhibits that are difficult to fit in one building.

The House Museum was opened in 2000, when traveller received this building for use as a member of the Moscow Union of Artists to create a creative workshop.

In January, the Telegram channel of the Mayor of Moscow published a list of the most popular venues, exhibitions and museums in the capital in 2024. Thus, the most popular venues include the Moscow Zoo, the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve, the Kolomenskoye Museum Reserve, the Ostankino and Kuskovo Museum Reserve, the Museum of Moscow Museum Association, and the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics.
