OREANDA-NEWS  In 2024, the average salary in 11 regions of Russia exceeded 100,000 rubles. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System.

It turned out that in the whole country it amounted to almost 88 thousand rubles, or 19 percent more than in 2023. The highest average salaries were recorded in Chukotka (185 thousand rubles), the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (164 thousand) and Moscow (162 thousand).

It also turned out that the figure of 100 thousand rubles exceeded the average wages in the Magadan and Sakhalin regions, the Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, the Kamchatka Territory and Yakutia. In 2023, the Murmansk Region and St. Petersburg were on this list.

Earlier, there was a forecast of a slowdown in the salary race in Russia, and the increase in salaries of existing and new employees will primarily focus on compensating for inflation. Some experts also believe that in 2025 it will become increasingly difficult for employers to attract workers with high salaries.
