The Visegrád partners adopted a decision to offer the Member States with external borders their participation in the protection of their external borders should the need arise, Interior Minister Sándor Pintér said after he consulted with his V4 counterparts.

The goal of the Agreement is to create favourable conditions for the supply of liquefied natural gas to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

“Hungary is a flag-bearer in the European Union for initiatives and programmes aimed at achieving a GMO-free protein supply”, the Ministry of Agriculture’s Parliamentary State Secretary said.

Central-Europe, and Hungary in it, is in a situation infrastructure-wise over which it has no control as regards the importation of natural gas, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó told journalists on Thursday.

Financing for the plants has been raised through a successful issuance of the world's largest Green SRI Sukuk (Islamic bond) of MYR 1,000 million in nominal value (USD 237 million).
