President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called on the West to sit down at the negotiating table to avoid the outbreak of a third world war.

The UK is imposing sanctions against Belarus, which, among other things, are aimed at preventing flights and landings of Belarusian airlines in Britain, the British government said in a statement.

The presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joe Biden, will discuss three blocks of issues during a meeting in Washington at the end of August: political, economic and security issues, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
