Authorities in Yunnan province in southwestern China have evacuated more than 150,000 people since April during the migration of a herd of elephants.

China has decided to recall the Chinese ambassador from Vilnius due to the fact that the Lithuanian authorities have allowed Taiwan to open a "representative office" in the country.
